One year after Pst Kong preached about the 5 top needs of men and women, I decided to review it again, since I'm attached now.

What struck me as I read through my sermon notes was that:
Compatibility is CREATED, it doesn't come by chance.

And a couple must always have 3 policies that they live by:
1) Policy of joint agreement - be enthusiastic!
2) Policy of radical honesty - say what you feel when you feel it
3) Policy of undivided attention - make time for each other, 15 hours a week.

5 needs of Men:
1) Sexual Fulfillment
2) Recreational Companionship
3) Attractive spouse
4) Domestic support
5) Admiration

5 needs of Women:
1) Affection
2) Conversation (15 hours! omg..lol)
3) Honesty and openess
4) Financial support
5) Family commitment

So...to every couple out there, don't forget to always make time, even no matter how busy you are.
And I have realised, to girls, words of affirmation really are very important.
A simple "I love you" or "I miss you", could make such a huge difference between feeling neglected and feeling treasured.
You can never say too many "I love you"-s to a person!

I think it's every girl's dream come true to have a perfect man who can do all that. But we all know that no man is perfect, and we just gotta keep learning along the way, giving and taking, being understanding with each other.

I have my expectations, and I know it won't be met in an instant. So I really need some patience!! (God, I hope you are hearing this)

My prayer is that we can really grow in our relationship, to be there for one another, to be each other's greatest cheerleader and to always have Jesus' love, joy and peace in the relationship.

Search me, O God, you know my heart;

And see if there is any wicked way in me;
& lead me in the way everlasting!
