Yay, i'm finally back here to blog again!

Sitting in NUS now!=)
So..the last few weeks have been crazy!

Presentations, reports, tests are never ending indeed.

But i'm happy that I did my best to present my research!
On saturday, i went back to school for lab meeting with all my lab collegues (pple who are almost twice my age!..:S)

and there, i had to present my research project i have been doing for the last three to four months.
Well, it has been one fantastic experience, as many of you know, i went back to school in the middle of the night quite a few times, stayed in school till unearthly hours.
There was once, i went to school at 2am and stayed there till the next day and didnt go home lor!!!!

but on hindsight, God is really GOOD! He has truly opened this door for me, and i am still amazed how this opportunity came about!

To be able to do research under the NUH O&G Dept is really a privilege and I must not be complacent! I must read up more and more and start being independent to learn the necessary things and acquire the thinking skills!! Yes, Darice! you can do it!

So anyway, it was pretty freaky presenting my work in front of at least 20 researchers who know so much more than me! And the worst thing is the computer didnt have my FONT! so the formatting went crazy. Totally C.M.I..BUT! it was all good in the end.

So i learnt, no matter what questions they throw you,just be C.O.O.L and think ")
Even if the highest ranking professor is there, it doesn't matter.
It is your confidence in yourself that matters.
Like any driving test- everyone can drive, but it is whether you go there believing you can pass the test or not which really will determine the final result.

=) So..its the final three weeks of the semester. Time FLIES FLIES FLIES FLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so fast lar...Aiyo..
But I am looking forward to the holidays! I hope i really can go holiday to Taiwan with Sam, Zhi Hong, Ben and Ailin etc..OR Japan with family.

I've not taken a plane since...........2002. WOAH 7 YEARS LEH!
i better stop being a mountain tortoise! heheheh!

And congratulations to Kenneth and Serena for the birth of baby JORDAN!
His eyes are so cute and very very very adorable! I'm sure he will be very handsome next time!

I must post this random thing i saw while at Julia's house downstairs yesterday..

So..i parked the car at some random lot and didnt even bother to park according to the lines since there was practically nobody anyway.

So another woman happened to also be parking at the lot near mine,

and after i talked for about 20 mins,

the woman continued to drive out and reverse back and do it again and again for 3-4 times!!!!!!

After that, she even came out of the car to see where the parking lot lines were at and went back in to try it another 2-3 times!

So..as i sat in the car talking for about half an hour, the lady STILL continued parking her car..
i think she must be a super perfectionist or sth?
IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!!!!

omgosh..okay i think i'm bad to laugh at people..but the FUNNIEST thing is..
after the lady brought her mother upstairs to go home,
she came down again, and she DROVE OFF.

so the conclusion was, she attempted to park her car to the straightest possible position, so that she could drive offf smoothly.... -.-

i'm really amazed. hahahahaha!!!!
