Today Dr AR Bernard really blew the roof off Hall 8 with his message!! it was refreshing, fresh and most importantly mind-blasting. I love his sermons seriously.

Today he said something which really came as a revelation to me. It is about Faith.

Faith has three dimensions:
1) Intellectual
2) Emotional
3) Volitional

Faith is a REASONED TRUST IN JESUS. it isn't some feeling or some experience only.

Just like the woman with the issue of blood, she reasoned in her mind that if she could touch the hem of Jesus' garment, She would be healed. Then she acted on her faith (that has been reasoned) and then stretched forth her hands. And she was healed!

So before you act in faith , always go for a process of reasoning! Reason what kind of person God is, and what He can do!

I think it's the same for me, I've always been a thinking/reasoning kind of person.
When AR bernard said today that faith is a reasoned trust, suddenly there was this click in my spirit and i realise that it has been sth i've been doing all these while but never really occured to me.

When temptations come from the devil to tempt you and your identity in Christ, we are not supposed to just let it come! We need to have this reasoned trust, a trust based on facts, not just feelings--and this will keep us from being moved. It is this reasoned trust that will be the foundation in your life when storms come.

So the moral of the story is: Satan is after your trust in God! So he attacks you intellectually and emotionally to ultimately separate you from God! So don't ever let your trust in God waiver, because He is completely good and the Devil is completely bad.
